    Kent State Shooting
    Occured at Kent Stste University in Ohio and involved the shooting of unarmed college students by ohio National Guard. Four students were killed,and 9 ohters were wounded. This event epitomized the division that the Vietnam War had created in America.

    U.S. troops were told to invade Cambodia who was not a part of the war in Vietnam. The cause was to stop training of the Vietcong. Made a huge anti-war epidempic in America. The war became worse than before.

    Mark Spitz was a Jewish American olympic swimmer and was able to recieve seven gold medals, one gold medal for each event he took place in. This was a world record which wasn't surpassed until Micheal Phelps in the 2008 Bejing olympics. He was praised around the world for his achievments.
