    This Corollary was tied to the Monroe Doctrine in that the U.S. would stay put of foreign affairs for its own safety and for the safety of other people. It also stated that the Western Hemisphere would not be open to colonization from Europe.

    Margret Sanger was a woman in favor of women's rights who fought for their right to control when they would conceive by providing a way for them to prevent pregnancy. She was the founder of Planned Parenthood.

    This is a trial held in court against a Christian science teacher over how religious teachings should not be forced onto students to believe and that Evolution should be a taught subject. This was a time where Evolution was beginning to arise as a scientific fact. Scopes won the trial but the people who took him to trial had accomplished what they wanted in that people would start to question the authenticity of Christianity.

    Hoover was elected when the stock market crashes and the Great Depression begins. The people wanted someone to blame other than themselves for the crash so they blame him and the towns that were stricken poor they named 'Hoovervilles'.

    People had invested money into businesses that thrives in the roaring 20's after the war. When these businesses failed people lost money. Well everyone did this so everyone lost money and the whole country lost millions. This left people in a Great Depression due to the lack of money to buy necessities.

    In order to help people through the great depression FDR needed to know their concerns, needs, and feelings. So he hosted a radio talk that would discuss the issues and how they were to be dealt with. This also helped to calm the people letting them know that things were going to be worked out in time.

    This was a law passed that discrimination of blacks, religion, Jews, gender, color, etc.. was banned from the workplace.

    This was a court case over the right to privacy if the government has control over what a woman does with her body regarding birth control and abortion.

    Malcolm X was a black Civil Rights leader particularity the portion that were Muslim. Ironically he was assassinated by Islamists.

    Nixon got the position because his opponent was killed, which left he political house in chaos. His presidency was full of issues and avoidable choices that he made on purpose.

    This was a big arts festival started by a group of guys and in order to get people to show up they make up stories of who's playing there. Thousands of people show up and it becomes a big event.

    This was when a company in Philly was made to hire minority workers including women to work for pay.

    This happened as a result of a protest against the Vietnam war. To control the crowd Nixon sent troops to try to break up the crowd, but rather than just use authority to break it up they start shooting aimlessly into the crowd of students. 4 were killed and 9 were left injured only to be coldly regarded as "dumb students" by Nixon.

    A lot of the time in the work place following the women's rights movement women were made fun of. So this title prohibited that especially in the sports department, thus, empowering women to keep moving forward.

    This was and Equal Rights Amendment passed for there to be equality among genders, races, sexual orientation, and skin color. Mainly to decrease discrimination and make more spots open for people of these categories to make something of themselves.

    Nixon's presidency had issues with the beginning, but the last issue that ended his presidency was Watergate. During his campaign, he authorized a breaking to the Watergate office to be bugged. People found out that this happened and it went back to him. He refused to hand over the tapes from Watergate because they contained evidence of his crime.

    Ronald Regan made a bluff that he could shoot enemy missals down from space with lasers. The president of the Soviet Union meets with him to try and convince him to get rid of the lasers. The pres of the Soviets was willing to change how he ran things to achieve peace and thanks to that willingness the Cold War ended.

    Clinton was a womanizer who had an affair with Monica Lewinsky. She, along with other woman, spoke out against Clinton with sexual assault and it eventually became the end of his presidency.

    This was a tragic act of terrorism in the United States. It wasn't the first act but it was one of the first major ones. Muslim terrorists hijacked a plane and few it into the World Trade Center killing hundreds and striking fear into the hearts of Americans.

    He was the first African-American President. He changes everything of how the government is ran and promises to end the Vietnam war but the casualties boost within his first two years in office
