The American Revolutionary War was a war againt the Kingdom of Great Britian and the thirteen colonies. The Americans won and we finally got our independence.

In 1846 a group of pioneers went west. The axel on one of the wagon wheels broke, so the got stuck. While they made camp, 5 feet of snow dropped. They were stranded for 5 months. They ate all their food, cattle, twigs and leaves. This resorted to cannibalism. It's called the Donner Party because included was Tamzen and George Donner.
