    French and Indian War
    The war was a war for control of the American territory between the French and the British for colony possession. The war lasted for about nine years before ending in British victory.The French had allied with the native but they still lost. The colonists were charged with the cost of the war and so the relationship between them and the British became strained after they gave the colonists taxes.

    The war began as a disagreement over the way Great Britain treated the colonies. The colonies felt they deserved all the rights of Englishmen yet the British felt that the colonies were created to be used in the way the king wanted.
