The Battle of Gettysburg

It was a tough battle between the Confederate and the Union. The second invasion of the North had failed.

Surrender at Appomattox

The South had surrendered to end the civil war. The Union was successful.

The Thirteenth Amendment

The thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery for the North and South states for good. The thirteenth Amendment was created and approved after the civil war between the Confederate and the Union.
