  • Pilgrims and Plymouth Rock 1500's

    The Plymouth Rock was the first pernenant Puritan settlement. The pilgrams left England to find religious beliefs.

  • Revolutionary War

    Britain forced the colonists to pay taxes. The there was a battle called The Buncker hill, and then The Treaty of Paris was signed.

  • Declaration of Independence

    They all started with the Revolutionary War and when they wanted to have complete independence with Great Britain. In the month March 1776 there was a vote about the independence and then they decided to have one which they called the Declaration of Independence.

  • Louisiana purchace

    They had to pay France $10 million for maling there land larger in the United States. So the Louisiana was made up of The Treaty of Cession.

  • Civil War

    The civil decided what kind of nation The United States would be and also the equal rights with men and the slavery.

  • World War 1

    The Versailles Treaty was signed during World War 2 which would have a treaty to help peace in Germany then the hatred of the treaty then that caused World War 2.

  • Great Depression

    The Great Depression was when the stock market crashed and "Black Thursday" struck Wall Street.

  • Dust Bowl

    There was a bunch of dust storms that had been blowing up in the hears leading up to the Dust Bowl.

  • World War 2

    There was an invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany and when Japan surrendered. The war began earlier with the Hapancese and their interventions in China and also in Europe.

  • Manhattan Project

    Scientists were developing nuclear physics about weapons. The whole project was by Dr. Elbert Einstein. Then America was the first to complete the understanding for nuclear fission.

  • Cold War

    The United States and the Soviet Union fought together against the Axis powers. The United States were worried about the Soviet Union the Russion leader for one.

  • Assassination of JFK

    JKF was assassinated while he rode in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Texas. His theme was about freedom, education, ect.

  • Apollo 11

    A United States american step foot on another planet and it took about a week. There was much hatred about this event. This was a achievment.

  • 9/11

    Two tourist planes flew into the Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Many people died now they have a memorial cneter.

  • Industrial Revolution

    When Europe and America became idustrial and urban, manufacturing was often done in people's homes wiht tools and other machines.
