This was a telegram from Germany to Mexico that proposed a military alliance between the two and in turn Germany basically pledged land back from the U.S. this was basically a declarance of war if Mexico complied. -

This was a promotion of fear of communism or radical leftism it basically was an event which had to do with communism and leftism in which panic would be caused or fear would raise in case these two types would rise in the U.S. -
Immigration Act of 1924
This act limited the number of immigrants allowed to immigrate from their country to the U.S. to only 2% of each nation this was implented so that immigrants would not continue to immigrate to the U.S. at large amounts, this prevented it from being extremely populated as well as preserve the ideal of American homogeneity. -
John Scopes - The Monkey Trial
This was a case in which a Teacher named John Scopes violated the Butler act which made it unlawful to teach human evolution in any state funded school. -
21st Amendment.
This reapealed the 18th amendment making alcohol legal once again.
