The Declaration of Independence declared our, well, independence from Britain. The king didn't like that, though. That's how the Revolutionary War got started. It was how we got started, really.
  • The Constitution

    The Constitution
This was after the revolutionary war. Our founding fathers decided that we needed a regular old government. So we made this! You can find it here:

  • President Andrew Jackson

    President Andrew Jackson
Our seventh President, Andrew Jackson, is sworn into office. Jackson turns out to be a pugnacious President and eventually removes all Indians west of the Mississippi River. This is a big step for America. We have more land now, and we can define ourselves as a nation.

It allowed American citizens to move west, resulting in a rush to move west for the United States.

    BIRTHDAY HAPPY! (My Birthday)
I was born. I'm not anyone special yet. Hopefully that even though I'm one of 7 billion, I'll stand out.
  • 9/11

    9/11
This was one of the most influential moments in American history. In an attempt to destroy American patriotism, terrorists made suicide bombs using planes crashing into the Twin Towers and the World Trade Center. The other two of five planes crashed elsewhere, one of them into the Pentagon. This was a sad moment in American history, but it showed how hard it is to crush patriotism.
