The woman’s suffrage act also known as the 19th amendment. This is earned them the right to vote. It denied the right of woman to vote. Also this lead to equal rights for both men and women. -

The Teapot Dome Scandal was an unprecedented bribery scandal. It was also a government scandal involving a former United States Navy oil. Albert Fall was found guilty of bribery in 1929 and sentenced to one year in prison. -

He quickly tried to clean up the scandals in 1924. He was reelected president in 1924. He was what people called an isolationist, because he wanted to stay out of other nations' problems except for self- defense. -

The KKK believed that America should be racially pure, which means they didnt like African Americans. The KKK became very strong in many states, including non-southern states. The Klu Klux Klan had over 5 million members in 1924. -
Lindbergh Flys across the Atlantic
Lindbergh was the first person to fly nonstop across the Atlantic. He flew across the Atlantic because he heard there was an offer of $25,000 to anyone that would fly nonstop across the Atlantic. He flew 33 hours, after he did that he became a hero. -
Babe Ruth became the first MLB player with most home runs in one year
This was Babe Ruth's best season in his career. He had 165 RBIs and scored 158 runs. He had 60 homeruns that year. -
Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart was the first ever girl to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. This meant it was a great thing for girls all across the world because it showed them they can do anything too. Also this was great for the world because they thought women couldn’t do what men did.
