Nic has been sober for almost two years. He goes down to San Fransisco and runs in to one of his old high school friends Lauren. She hasnt been sober for years and she get Nic to relaps with her. -

Nic realizes how much he still loves to do drugs and he stats shooting up everyday with Lauren. He meets this man Gack who helps him get the drugs and the starts selling to to make more money before Nic runs out of his money he has saved up. He starts dating Lauren and they fall in love. -
Pages 65-103
Nic and Lauren think the have it all figured out, until they start running out of money and cant buy anything to even sell anymore. One night while they were high they were at Laurens houuse while her parents were out of town. They called coming to find out Lauren isnt sober anymore and forcing her to go to her therapist house for rehab for the weekend. -
103-130
Nic starts think about going sober again and questioning himself about why he even relapsed in the first place. He calls his friend Spencer who imidiatly is saportaive and tells Spencer to use the last of his money to buy a plane ticket to LA. Spencer was going to be his mentor. -
130-164
Lauren comes home after the weekend at rehab to find Nic and all of his bags ppacked and ready to leave. She gets extemely mad at him and starts yerling but Nic doesnt care anymore and just leave to go find a better life. He says goodbye to Gack and wishes him good luck. -
164-188
Nic meets SPencer at the airport and brings him to his old apartment so he can stay there and be compftorable for detox. He stays for three days and explains the pain and how hard it is for his body. -
188-210
After he detoxed Spencer called Nic to go for a bike ride, something he has always loved to do. They go on the ride and it is very hard for nic to even make it around the bock, but he does. Nic starts going to 12 step programs and goes over to dinner at Spencers house that night. -
210-220
Nic starts talking to his family again and his father invites him to Hawaii for the week, and Nic has a lot of fun. It been almost a year sence nic has done any type of drugs. -
220-254
Nic runs in to his old girlfriend Zelda who he was madely in love with. They start dating and Nic is really happy with his life. He has a job working at a hair salon receptionist and a great girl friend. He and Spencer go on bike rides everymorning still, and Nic still attends classes for drug abuse. -
255-286
Nic catchs Zelda shooting up Cocain and they decide that there so in love and everythings so perfect why cant he relapse again. So he does. And he wonders why he ever stoped in the first place. He starts on a bunch of perscription drugs and meth, herorin, and coke. -

Nics family soon finds out about his relapse with Zelda and takes him away to a rehabilitation hospital far away from Zelda. He is very upset with this desision but realizes he better make the best of it. He misses Zelda so bad that he just wants to get out of there so he can go see her. After a few months there he starts to acctually like the hospital and the things they are teaching him and it acctually makes him want to stay sober for awhile. But nobody knows how long it will acctually last.
