The colonists wanted to move and explore the new gained territory (which makes sense), but the British limited them to the colonies that were mostly already explored. This also ended the F & I War.

Sugar was very widely used at the time (and still is today), but then the King placed restrictions and taxes on this super popular. this could have left the economy in shambles if it continued later.

Paper was also widely used, so now they were starting to agree with the whole “No Taxation Without Representation” concept.

This began the point when the colonists couldn’t forgive the British. They had caused the death of their citizens, and now they were going to fight back with more force.

This limited what the colonists could sell and buy, and it’s another widely used item.

This encouraged the colonists to reject British rule, because they couldn’t tax them without any representation from them.

The colonists thought that the British had no right to punish them for rebellion when what they were rebelling for was truly unfair. On top of that, there were more unfair things being placed over their heads that would surely scramble them even more.

This was the very first battle of the true American Revolution, and another turning point.

This didn’t work for the colonists because the King rejected it because of being written by an illegal congress and the fact that the damage they had done was irreversible.
