  • Jordanian Prime Minister and Eleven Others Killed

    Jordanian prime minister and eleven others were killed by a bomb in the foreign ministry building in Amman, Jordan. Two of the bombers fled to safety and eleven others were sentenced to death for the attack.
  • Portuguese Rebels hijack Cruise Liner

    Portuguese rebels take more than 550 passengers hostage. US and Brazilian warships intercepted the ship and forced the hijackers to surrender to the Brazilian authorities. Beginning of rebellions of other countries interfering with the US and them doing something about it.

Puerto Rican born Abntulio Ramirez Ortiz forced the National Airlines Corvair 44O to fly to Havana at gun point and was then given asylum. He was jailed for twenty years when he returned to Maimi, United States, in 1975. Similar to occurances on 9/11.

    American presidential candidate Robert Kennedy murdered by Jordanian terrorist, Sirhan Bishara Sirhan, in Los Angeles, United States. Killer was arrested. Arab terrorists groups attacked more, wanting his release.

This was biggest terrorist attack on US ever. Sparks the War on Terrorism. Creates American’s hatred for Islamic terrorist groups.

  • Anthrax Letter Attack

    Anthrax discovered in mailroom of office building near US Senate in
    Washington DC. This is followed by other incidents in New York and
    Florida. Two people die of infection in Washington, one dies in New
    York and one dies in Florida. At least 13 people infected but survive.
    Some 13,300 postal workers treated with antibiotics as precaution. As yet the source of the Anthrax is unknown and no one has been apprehended.

    Six Islamic militants connect to Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda network killed in missile attack from US Predator unmanned aerial vehicle in Yemen
