It has now become one of the necessities of many jobs, and one of top tools for creativity in the modern era.

    The first ever text message was sent out in 1992. The first concept of text messaging was invented by Friedhelm Hillebrand and Bernard Ghillebaert. Text messaging changed the world in the way of fast and efficient communication. There was no more need to have long processing mailing and phone calls.

    The internet was released to the public in 1993. Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf were the two that were given credit for discovering the internet. The internet is what gives everyone access to media from all over the world. Without internet, things like Google and early games like the Playstation wouldn't have been possible.

    The PlayStation was revealed in 1994. The founder of PlayStation is Ken Kutaragi. The PlayStation was a huge game changer for many different markets as it opened up a new path towards gaming for adults. PlayStation came even before the Xbox and therefore created hype and influenced many into nowadays most popular gaming industry.

    DVD's were invented in 1995. There are no specific name as to who invented the DVD as it was a shared project between Sony, Philips, Panasonic, and Toshiba. The DVD changed the world in a way that VHS' are not necessary anymore. There is no need to rewind the tape and no need for a bulky box. DVD's created a whole new way in compact and portable high quality video media/game usage.
