Tim is born
Aug. 14, 1987 Tim Tebow was born. He was born in Makati City to Pamela Elaine and Robert Ramsey. While Tim's mom was pregnant she suffered a life-threatening infection with a pathogenic amoeba. -
Highschool football
Tim started playing highschool football. Tebow was homeschooled but a law was passed letting him play school sports. He played for the Nease Panthers in Ponter Vedra Beach, Florida. -
State 4a Title
Tim's highschool (Nease) won the State Title. They played the Armwood Hawks and won. The score was 44-37. -
Signed with the Florida Gators
Tebow decided to go to the University of Florida to play with the Gators. They have won 26 national team champipnships. Florida competes in the NCAA Division 1 Southern Conference. -
NCAA all freshman team
Tim was picked to play on the all freshman NCAA team. He was one of 5 quarterbacks from the whole nation to be picked. He started also. -
Heismon trophy
Tebow was awarded the Heisman Trophy, finishing ahead of Arkansas's Darren McFadden, Hawaii's Colt Brennan, and Missouri's Chase Daniel. Tim was the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. He got 462 first place votes and 1957 points. -
Davey O'Brien Award
The Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award is presented annually to the collegiate American football player adjudged by the Davey O'Brien Foundation to be the best of all National Collegiate Athletic Association quarterbacks. the award was established as the Davey O'Brien Memorial Trophy, It is given to the most outstanding player in the Southwest Conference. -
ALL-SEC First Team
Tebow was again voted onto the All-SEC first team in 2009. The top 30 players in the SEC league are chosen onto this team. Tim was one of 5 quarterbacks that got picked to be on this team. -
Drafted into the NFL
Tim was drafted to the Denver Broncos. He was the 25th overall pick in the draft. The Broncos did a trade in the draft with the Baltimore Ravens to get Tebow. -
