The Battle of Vimy Ridge took place April 9-12, 1917. The battle was thought to be impossible because of the huge advantage our Germany had by having the high ground. General Arthur Currie was the one in charge of leading this attack and knowing about the disadvantage we had come up with a plan to give us a winning chance.
