  • Telephone Invented

    Since the invention of the Telephone, society has changed socially, economically, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. The inventor was Alexander Graham Bell. Before the telephone, only important messages were sent by mail carrier.
  • Internal Combustion Engine Invented

    The internal combustion engine changed transportation forever for America. Its biggest advantage over the steam engine that they had been using was its weight to power ratio, Nikolaus Otto was the first to build and sell the engine.
  • Radio Invented

    if it weren't for radio, none of the electronica and music we have today would exist. Radio formed society in a way nothing else has.The inventor of the radio was Nikola Tesla.
  • The Great Migration

    The great migration was the act of black slaves in the south moving north to escape segregation after slavery was abolished. It relocated more than 6 million African Americans. They took over alot of the jobs that the young men had before they left for the war.
