    Butler Education Act
Introduced by Richard A. Butler. Government regarded leaving at 14 was no longer adequate to leave education as it was the age where learning was the most appreciated and understood for its value. Also it was seen as the worst age to switch between education and work. This bought rise to the 11+ examinations for grammar schools and secondary schools. Equal opportunity for education brought through. This gave everyone an opportunity to valuable education.

Advanced Subsidiary exams bought in for 17 year olds to be a qualification of their own and also halfway points in a full A-Level grade. This affected my education in a positive way as it allowed me to drop Biology as a subject and walk out with an AS level in it.
