The French Revolution began by the assault of the Bastille and months later the abolition of Feudalism and the Declaration of the Rights Man and of the Citizen. In 1793 the king Louis XVI was executed. In 1795 the French voted for a constitution.The new government was called "The Directory". In 1999 Napoleon removed "The Directory" to set up a dictatorship.

In 1975, colonists started protesting against the British communities, they demanded to have a better representation in the Parliament and to have the same rights as the British. Colonists, such as, Bengjamin Franklin and George Washington had voted in favor to get independent from United Kingdom. In 1778, France joined the colonists to help them proclaim their independence. The war ended until 1783, when Great Britain formally recognized the United States´ Independence.

The Age of Enlightenment was a philosophical movement which dominated in Europe. It mostly centered on the ideas of authority, liberty, progress, etc. It also questioned the religious orthodox. Sir Isaac Newton and Voltaire were both influenced by Enlightenment, and one of the most important outcome of the Age of Enlightenment was the creation of the Encyclopedia.

scientific revolution was about change in thought and belief also in organization and social life. Nicholas Copernicus with the heliocentric theory and Isaac Newton who proposed universal laws. Newton published his work named "Principia" that talked about the laws of gravity.
