    Fax machines got invented in 1843. Some people are still using them but they are coming to a end. Fax Machines got replaced by emails.

    Floppy Disks

    Floppy Disks got invented in 1880 and they started not to be used anymore around 2004. Floppy Disks got replaced by CD's, DVDs, etc.

    Phonebooks

    The first phone book was invented on January 15, 1880. Maybe only a couple people would still use these, but quickly they are dying out. These got replaced by cell phones that have people's numbers on their contacts and you could use the internet to find out numbers.

    Public pay phones

    Public Pay Phones started in 1889. The pay phones started to disappear in 2007, there are still some out there but in the future they will be probably all gone. These pay phones got replaced by cell phones.

    Pennies

    When the Lincoln one-cent coin made its initial appearance in 1909, 104 years later, the penny became obsolete. The penny became obsolete because they were kind of useless because one was only worth one cent.

    VCR

    VCR was invented in 1956 and the last VCR that was produced was in 2008. VCR got replaced by the DVD.

    Buttons On Phones

    Buttons on Phones all started on November 18, 1963. In 2017, the iPhone X was all touch screen and later on when the next iPhone comes out there will probably no more buttons on a phone. Buttons on the phones got replaced by a phone with all touch screen.

    Arcades

    Arcades were fun a long time ago, the first ever one was invented in 1971. Now other things started to come out and arcades started not to be used as much. When you go to one of the arcades in the world you have to pay a lot of money just to play a game. So, no wonder they got replaced by tons of stuff like cell phones, consoles, computers, etc.

    Blockbuster was founded on October 19, 1985 and stores started shutting down in 2009. Blockbuster got replaced by Netflix and Video-on-Demand.

    PDAs

    PDAs were popular for a short amount of time. They first came out in 1993 and they got disconnected in 2010. PDAs got replaced by the Blackberry, and then, of course, the touch-screen smartphone.
