    The italian sailor Christoph Columbus sailed by order of the spanish government to discover India, but he went the wrong way and stopped in the Caribic. So he discovered America. The Spanish and a lot of other european Countries send men to America to get the resources. The discover of the new World was very important for economy and power of Europe!

    1939 to 1945 The 2nd World War was faught between Germany, Italy and Japan against Great Britain, France, the USSR and the USA. The main area was Germany, who opened the war with the words:" Um 12.30 Uhr wird zurückgeschossen!" That means something like, "at 12.30 we will shoot back." So Germany didn't actually want to open this war, bu thats not the truth.

    You can really define it: End of the 2nd World War to German Reunion in 1989. The Cold War was not actually a real war - no one faught, no one died! It was more an arms race between the USSR and the USA. Both sites thaught that the other site would attack them, but at the end no one did. The Cold War ended with the German Reunion.
