    Benito became prime minister in 1922, yet having already Fascist movement. He was a military 'genious' having won Britain and France during the Ethopian and Spanish war. These wars were before he planned with Hitler to take over.

    Slowly but surely, Adolf Hitler gained trust of Germany. After being elected as their leader, he attempted to commit genocide towards non-arians. This later came to an end by the World War II.

    George S. Patton
    George Smith Patton was a United States Army general. He commanded the Seventh United States Army. Later, he would rule the Third United States Army, in the European Theater of World War II. Following the invasion of Poland and the outbreak of World War II in Europe, Patton wanted to build up the power of U.S. armored forces.

    At first he was an army vice minister. On this day he rose to an actual army minister.He had served the German army for two years and really wanted an alliance with them. He was the one to give final approval for the Attack on Pearl Harbor.

    This date is significant because this was a historic fight from the Flying Tigers: 20 out of 78 Japanese planes were shot down with no casualties. These were planes that were made by and from the "Far East" China. They had faces of sharks on them, their training was distinct.

    This was the practice of using atomic bombs on islands. Many innocent people suffered-and still suffer from- chemical poisoning. These actions were caused by America. Canada and the United Kingdom supported these actions.

    During World War II, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Executive Order 9066 on this day. This executive order basically dismissed the Japanese into camps. See Kiromatsu vs US. This let the military put up camps in areas they wanted.

    The Bataan Death March was a forcible transfer. The Imperial Japanese Army of 60,000–80,000 Filipino and American prisoners took place in this. This happened due to the three month Battle of Bataan.
  • Navajo Code Talkers

    Navajo Code Talkers
    This date is when 29 Navajo Code Talkers attended boot camp. They were the first to make the code in this boot camp. The term is now usually associated with the U.S. soldiers during the world wars who used their knowledge of Native American languages as a code to translate messages secretly.

    The Battle of Midway was a crucial and decisive naval battle in the Pacific Theatre of world War II. Between 4 and 7 June 1942, only six months after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States Navy under Admiral Chester Nimitz, Frank Jack Fletcher, and Raymond A. Spruance decisively defeated an attacking fleet of the Imperial Japanese Navy under Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, Chuichi Nagumo, and Nobutake Kondo on Midway Atoll, inflicting devastating and irreparable damage on the Japanese fleet

    This was around 6 months after the Attack on Pearl Harbor. Office of War information was basically a widespread propaganda rush. They had many different things they drew and talked about. This is where Rosie the Riveter came in, Uncle Sam, and also showed real photos of the effects this war had.

    Normandy, France was invaded by Nazi Germany. Allied forces joined together and fought them to gain back their independence. 9,000 lives were taken this day. We did not conquer Nazi Germany on this day, however we reached a milestone.

    On this day, Omar Bradley decided to make headquarters of the military on the shore. He commanded 1.3 million men as he was a U.S. Army military commander. His work was during the World War II and spread from North Africa to Europe.

    Korematsu vs US
    The date is the final decision date of this Supreme Court Case. This was an argument over the unconstitutional force of Japanese Americans going to camps. On this day they decided that the United State's "emergency" needs to "protect against espionage" was far more important than Korematsu's rights.

    This is when he made important decisions in the army in Italy.He was one of the seven black males who received a Medal of Honor late. The Medal of Honor is the highest award that the United States has to offer in the U.S. Military.

    The date is when Harry Truman became president. This was only a short time after WWII ended. He was the 33rd president of the United States. He took office when Franklin D. Roosevelt died early, at first only serving as vice president.

    Who doesn't know this guy? He wanted to rule the world one nation at the time. He believed that the world will become a paradise with the right people; ideally a healthy weight, blue eyes, and blonde hair. He started the Holocaust and convinced many people into becoming nazis. He committed suicide in his bunk on this day.

    The Potsdam Conference was held at Cecilienhof, in Potsdam, occupied Germany.Participants were the Soviet Union, the UK and the US. The three powers were represented by Communist Party General Secretary Joseph Stalin, Prime Ministers Winston Churchill, Clement Attlee, and President Harry S. Truman.

    This date was when "Little Boy" was dropped on the island called Hiroshima. Two days after, "Fat Man" was dropped on Nagasaki. Little Boy was a lot like a uranium gun. Fat man was more of a plutonium implosion. They did a series of these through 'island hopping.' These were our atomic bomb testings.

    These are trials held by the Allied Forces. These came after the war to prosecute the main leaders of Nazi Germany military-wise and politically. Eventually one commited suicide.

    This timespan is his presidency. Being a five-star general in the military during WWII, he had full control on Operation Torch. He also had full responsibility on the choices made in the invasion of France and Germany which became successful.
