    In the middle ages men were a lot older than women when they married. Noble women would not marry until they were 24, but that was very rare. 3/4 of women would be married before they reached 19. It was very hard for a girl to marry a man if her father in the lower class or a peasant because her father was not a free man and he would have to go to the feudal lord to get permission, so she could get married.
