    On July 29,1958 NASA (national Areonautics And Space Act) was created for space purposes. Such as monitering other country sattilits or watching space to see whar will happen. But the most important thing is they take care of space travel.

    after the USA said that they were going to explore space, the russians came into the scene with this beach-ball sized space exploreation and almostchallenged the USA to the space race.

    Yuri Gagarin was the first human in space. April 12 is now an important date around the world,not just The United States Of America and Russia (Soveits). Russia was the country that put Yuri in space, so they get all the credit.

    It was ealry 1962, the Soveits were clearly winning. But, the USA retaliated by sendng John Glenn into Freindship 7. A small space capsule that let Glenn orbit the earth THREE TIMES!!! Yes, three.

    The USA and the Russians/Soviets sent lots of aircrefts into space. (unpiloted) They all explored the moon. One of the aircrafts was called Surveyor.Surveyor actually landed on the moon.In conclusion,we know that the moon has a solid serface to land on and it WILL be safe when we land on it.
