  • Sugar Act

    The sugar act was a British Law made on the fifth of April on 1764 passed by the parliament of Great Britian. The document was designed to raise revenue from the American colonists in the thirteen colonies. This actt set a tax on sugar and molasses imported into the colonies which impacted the manufacture of rume in New England
  • Currency Act

    The currency Act was a British Law passed by the Parliament of Great Britain. The document was designed to control the colonial currency system, it prohibited the issue of any new bills and the re-issue of existing currency by the America colonist in the 13 colonies.

    The Quartering Act was two British Laws, they were passed by the parliament of Great Britian in 1774. These laws were designed to provide British troops with food and shelter at the expense of the American colonist
  • Townshend Act

    The Townshed Act was a series of laws which set new import taxes on British goods including paint, paper, lead, glass and tea.The names of the series of Townshend act were the Revenue act of 1767, the Indemnity act of 1767, the Commissioners of Customs of 1767, the Vice Admirealty Court in 1767 and the New York Restraining Act of 1768.
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre is a famous pre-revolutionary event that occured in front of the Customs House on King Street on the fifth of March, 1770. The redcoats fired to the patriots when they felt treatened, the patriots took advantage of the event and stated that the redcoast fired for no reason.

  • Battles of Lexington and Concord

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord was on the ninteen of April in 1775, it was a ticking bomb becuase tensions had been building up for many years. The battle occured at Lexington town green, first started off fighting and at last the British were hastily retreating under intense fire .
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    On the Battle of Bunker Hill British the British defeated the Americans. Despite thier loss the Americans confiedence grew because even though they were unexpierenced they inflicted significant casualties against the British.
  • Declaration of Independance

    On the fourth of July the Continental Congress adopts the Declaration of Independence which proclaims the independence of the United States.
