    The battle of salamis was a battle to destroy the persian fleet. After the battle the athinians retired to the peloponnesian peninsula.

    Three outcomes of the war were the invention of the military move phalanx: where heavy infantry would attack. another is the creation of the delian league: this was an allience of the greek city states lead by athens which would prepare for nother attack from the persians. The final outcome was that greek culture still thrived in the future.
