On this date a scientist by the name of Pilatre De Rozier had launched the first hot balloon, he had animals as test subjects so no humans would get hurt in the process!

First human flight

The first human to skydive would be Andre-Jacques Garnerin.

The inventors of this creation is Henri Giffard, and Alberto Santos-Dumont

Airplane

This was made by Wilbur and Orville Wright, or as popularly known, the Wright brothers. The first airplane was good, but they couldn't use any test subjects and had to test it themselves.

The Jet

Actually called Turbojet, this fast gal was made by Frank Whittle and then passed on to Hans von Ohain. This was made in Germany with the German Air Force.

The Helicopter

This wasn't MADE but it was designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The first working prototype was VS-300, made by Igor Sikorsky

The Spaceship

So it wasn't any specific person who had invented the spaceship. It was a very large team who had done it. Although, the first man to pilot it was by Yuri Gagarin.
