Jahangir is successful through the support of the women. Jahangir`s son revolts unsuccessfully but during his reign he becomes addicted to opium and alcohol.

Jahan gets ill and his son Shikoh becomes regent for him but later Aurangzeb his younger brother opposes him.

Aurangzeb defeats his older brother to gain power though his father now healthy; he has him declared unfit for the throne and he gets executed. This also starts the decline of the Mughal Empire.

Alam, Aurangzeb`s son, becomes the successor though he tries to undo his fathers wrongdoings he is a little too late. There is too many chaos and violent feuds during his reign.
