Sep 4, 1902 Morris burns it but Mr White rescues it Sep 5, 1902 Mrs. White jokes about how 2000 pounds won't do any harm Sep 6, 1902 Herbert, their son, goes to work Sep 7, 1902 A representative of their son empoyers arrives Sep 8, 1902 He announces his death and offers 2000 pounds as compensation Sep 9, 1902 The Whites burry their son Sep 10, 1902 Mrs. White remembers the monkey's paw and urges to make a wish Sep 11, 1902 He makes the wish and hears a knock on the door Sep 12, 1902 Mrs. White attends the door and Mr White rushes to get the paw and make a final wish. Sep 13, 1902 He wishes to undo everything and the knocking ceases while the echo remains in the house
