    First Day

    Thomas is shown around the Glade by Chuck. He learns a little bit about the maze and suddenly has a strong desire to become a runner.
  • Day 2

    Day 2

    Thomas is given a full tour of the Glade by Alby. Thomas sees a griever for the first time. The Gladers get a surprise from the box.

  • Dead Griever

    Minnoh, leader of the runners, finds a dead griever.The next day, Alby and Minnoh go out in the maze to investigate the dead griever.
  • A Night in the Maze

    A Night in the Maze

    Alby and Minnoh were attacked by the griever they thought was dead and on their way back Thomas leaves the Glade to try to help Alby and Minnoh. Walls close and they are stuck in the maze for the night.

  • Back in the Glade

    Minnoh, Alby, and Thomas miraculously survive the night in the maze and become the first people to ever survive a night in the maze.
  • A Gathering

    A Gathering

    While Alby is recovering from the griever attack, Newt calls a gathering to discuss what they will do with Thomas now that he has broken their number one rule. Thomas is sentenced to one day in the Slammer but is also nominated to beome a runner.
  • First Day as a Runner

    First Day as a Runner

    Minnoh teaches Thomas how to become a maze runner.
  • Strange Happenings

    Strange Happenings

    Everything stops, the Gladers no longer get supplies from the box, the sun is gone, and the walls no longer move.
  • A Way Out

    A Way Out

    Thomas discovers a way to leave the Maze.

  • Escape

    The Gladers escape and they are back in the real world.
