The elephant and the magician are both put in jail because the noblewoman was crippled.

Adele starts to dream about the elephant.

Peter goes to the house of the countess Quintet and sees the elephant. when they see each other Peter understands the elephant wants to go home.

Peter goes to his neighbors ( the police man) and explians that he needs to talk to the magician.

Peter and Leo Matienne go to the prison to talk to the magician to ask if he can make the elephant dissapear the way he made her appear. The magician said 'I will need two things, I will need the elephant, for I can not make her dissapear without her being preasent and I will need Madam LaVaughn.

Peter, Adele, the begger and his dog and Leo and Gloria Matienne stay at the Matienne's house forever and always. The magician never did magic again. The elephant completely forgot about what happened to her in the city of Baltese.

Peter goes to the house of the Countess Quintet to get the elephant and the Noblewoman Madam LaVaughn on the way back to the magician, Adele, Peter's sister, sees them and runs outside, they take her to the magician. The magician succeeds dissapearing the elephant.
