    Bombing in WW2 by the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) forces Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy to flee their home in London to a professors house.

    RISING ACTION - The Wardrobe to Narnia
    Playing hide-and-seek, Lucy enters a wardrobe full of fur coats and suddenly enters Narnia. She also then meets her friend Mr. Tumnus. Tumnus invites Lucy to tea, and she and Tumnus have a wonderful time, but he bursts into tears confessing that he is trapping Lucy for the evil White Witch.

    RISING ACTION - Edmund & the White Witch
    Edmund follows Lucy to see this "magic" wardrobe and finds she is telling the truth! He doesn't find Lucy meets the white witch. Bewitching him with Turkish Delight, the Witch uses Edmund's greed and gluttony to convince Edmund to bring back his siblings to meet her.

    RISING ACTION - Meet the Beavers!
    Hiding in the wardrobe one day all four children enter Narnia. At Tumnus's home a note informs them that Tumnus has been arrested on charges of treason. Lucy begs her siblings to rescue Tumnus from the Witch. The children wander into the woods, and meet Mr. Beaver. At his home he explains that the children cannot do anything to save Tumnus. They must go see Aslan the lion.

    RISING ACTION - Aslan
    As Edmund slips away to warn the White Witch of Aslan and the plan, Mr. Beaver, Peter, Susan, and Lucy go to meet Aslan at the Stone Table. In a rage the Witch begins plotting to kill the children. She fears an ancient prophecy that four humans overthrow her evil empire.
    When the other three meet Aslan, they are awed by him, but they also love him immediately, despite their fear. Aslan promises to save Edmund.
  • RISING ACTION - Peter Kills the Wolf

    RISING ACTION - Peter Kills the Wolf
    Susan blows the magic horn that Father Christmas gave her to her, signaling that she is in danger. Aslan sends Peter to help her. Peter sees a wolf attacking Susan, and stabs it to death with the sword given him by Father Christmas. Aslan sends his followers to trail another wolf, hoping it will lead them to the Witch.
  • RISING ACTION - The Compromise

    RISING ACTION - The Compromise
    The Witch is about to kill Edmund but Aslan and his followers rescue him. They can't find the Witch. Edmund has accepted that the Witch is evil. The next day, the Witch says Edmund's life is hers because he is a traitor, this according to the Deep Magic of Narnia. Aslan does not deny this, but secretly compromises with her. The Witch appears very pleased, while Aslan seems depressed.

    RISING ACTION - Death At the Stone Table
    Susan and Lucy see Aslan get more and more sad. They notice that Aslan disappears and they leave the pavilion to find him. When they do, he says they can stay until he tells them they must leave. At the Stone Table Aslan tells them to leave but the girls hide behind some bushes and witness the Witch and her followers torment and finally kill Aslan. The Witch declares that Aslan sacrificed himself for Edmund.

    RISING ACTION - Aslan Rises!
    Susan and Lucy stay with Aslan's body all night. In the morning, they hear a great cracking noise, and find the Stone Table broken. Aslan is gone. Aslan's voice suddenly sounds from behind them. He has risen from the dead. Aslan carries the girls to the Witch's castle, where they free all the prisoners who have been turned to stone.
  • CLIMAX - The Final Battle

    CLIMAX - The Final Battle
    Aslan, Susan, and Lucy join Peter's army in the battle against the Witch's troops. Peter's troops face defeat but fortunately, Aslan kills the Witch and the army then crushes the Witch's horde.
  • RESOLUTION - Ascension to the Throne

    RESOLUTION - Ascension to the Throne
    The Pevensies ascend to the thrones at Cair Paravel, the castle in Narnia. They continue to rule in Narnia into adulthood forgetting about their past life. On a hunting outing one day they discover the vaguely familiar lamppost that marks the border between Narnia and our world. The four fall back out of the wardrobe into the Professor's house as children. No time has passed! They tell Professor Kirke about their adventure, and he tells them that they will see Narnia again some day.
