Ray was offered lots of scholarships to play football, he chose the University of Miami so his mom could come and watch him play.

In spring 1996 Ray was taken in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens

He recieved his first pro bowl invite in 1997 and has made many more

In his first couple seasons he led the league in tackles

In 2000 he led the ravens to the superbowl and he won the MVP honors

He won defensive player of the year. He did this several times from 2000-2003

Ray had never met his father until his early 30's. He finnaly met him, in prison too.
