The election between George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore was percived to be one of the least dynamic on issues. By early evening on election night, it was apparent that who ever won Flordia would win the election. Bush's razor-thin margin of about 1,200 votes prompted an automatic recount. Bush won presidency with 271 elector votes, just one more than needed. -

On September 11, 2001 terrorists attacted the U.S. they hijacked four airplanes in midflight. the terrorists flew two of the planes into 2 skyskrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. this was the end of the Twin Towers, they bursted into flames as the planes hit. Nearly 3,000 people were killed. -

Bush proposed acceletrating and expanding the development and deplyoment of the system and called for the ABM treaty to be replaced by a new "framework" that would premit such defense. the United States announced that it would withdraw from the ABM treaty in Dec. 2001 and officialy withdraw in June 2002. -

On Aug. 15-25 in 2003, i was 5 and my grandparents brought me to Disney World. Me and brother went on water rides with my uncle. my grandpa took me on the roller coaster called "Rock n' Rollin." My grandma took me on the Tower of Terror. we got to drive in minni go carts and see a parade. -
