when Stevie and his dad are checking in at the hotel, they are in line behind the famous Tony Kornheiser. -
Reading The Letter
In this event Steven Thomas recieves a letter that he is a winner of a two people essay contest. as a winner he has the oppurtunity to cover the final four basketball games as a student reporter. Stevie's mother says Stevie has to wait for his father to get home to see if he can take time off work to go with Stevie to New Orleans, Stevie's dad says yes. -

Susan and Stevie spent an hour trying to find out who the guy was but they could not. -
Awards for breakfest
In this event, Stevie and Susan Carol are attending the awards for breakfest. they have to get pictures and have to get there credentials for the media. -
Big Tex
As Wiess (his adviser) and Stevie run into a man named Big Tex who are selling tickets, but stevie does not need tickets but still Big Tex ask them, they say no, and then Big Tex is giving them the run down on the Tickets (floor seats), and all of a sudden Stevie remembered his dad needed tickets but not him so his dad gets those tickets. -
Press Confrence.
As Stevie and Susan Carol are at the press confrences where the four coaches and eight student athletes from the teams are there Susan and Stevie have to take notes on how it is. -
Roaming the halls
When the press confrences are over Stevie and Susan go roaming the halls and look at all the teams locker rooms, first, Duke, second, UConn, third, St. Joe's, and fourth, Minnesota State, and as they tried to walk in the MSU locker room they heard people talking, Chip Graber MSU's star point guard, and someone they did not know, and as they were listening the man they did not know was telling Chip to throw the Championship game or else...... Chip Graber was being blackmailed???? -

A New Friend
at the Media Dinner, Stevie got to meet all the coaches of the four teams and have a fun dinner. Stevie met Fran Dunphy an amazing coach and is a friend of Stevie's after a fun night. -
Finding Chip Graber
The next day Stevie and Susan try too find Chip Graber and they do and ask who that man was, he was a profeser at MSU and he wanted to be the coach next year so he wanted Chip to lose he tried to make him lose???? and then??? -
Chip's Story
Chip told stevie and Susan that the man had a group and is a very evil man so if they are going to find a way to take them down it is going to be hard. and more.. -
Making Plans
Stevie and Susan and Chip make a plan as the Duke vs. UConn game is going on. -
Buzzer Beater
Chip Graber the star hit a buzzer beater to win the semi-final game to play Duke in the finals but he has to lose or does he have to win??? -

Dean Wojenski
Chip, Stevie, and Chip call the dean of MSU and tell him everything... but Wojenski is in on the blackmail skim too uhhhoo! -
Finding Proof
they try to find proof to see if Wiess will believe them and if the media will. -
Closing in
Stevie and Susan are closing in on thi blackmail but there is not alot of time left before the Championship game so they have to Speed it up . -
No Way Out
it was about 5 minutes into the Championship game and they finally believed the kids and the cops cacth the dean and profeser and they arrest them. but the game is still going on. so Chip still thinks he has to throw the game. so at halftime Stevie and Susan tell Chip he can win the game but they are already down by 23. -
The Final Shot
Chip graber had got his team back into it in the 2nd half and on the last shot down by one Chip shoots a step back jumper and drains it they win no way!!!!!!!!!!! -
The Ceremony
In the Ceremony Chip says that he could not of one the Championship without the help of Steven Thomas and Susan Carol!!! "Thankyou for all that you did!" he said.
