Troubled Parents
Since the day kevin was born his parents both had awful characteristics. His mom had an awful temper, problems with violence and spend most of the money on smokes. Dennis; Kevins father did not do much for the family he sat and listned to Johnny Cash and had a serious drinking problem. -
Unhealthy living
The living conditions at home for kevin were awful. The house was constantly filled with the scent of cigaretts, booze, pee and poop. During the night the kids were forced to use a bucket at the top of the stairs to go to the bathroom in. In the house there were no lights therefore most of the time they missed the bucket. Making the house smell of urine. -
Kevins home life
Kevins home life was not the best, his mother was an abusive in all ways, emotionally, verbally and physically. Kevin had a rough child hood with his mom allowing him to eat only when she says, beating him if he did something wrong. Constantly threatning and abusing him for example, "you'll get the shit kicked out of you and you will be sleeping in the bath." He had problems wetting the bed becauseof his mother. -
Kevins school troubles
You would thing that the abuse at home would be enough for Kevin but no it does not just stop there. All through elementary school kevin and his siblings were known as the Tramps. Kevins house was located right by the school and everyone knew his crazy mother and the story of him and his family. He was never invited to birthday partys or to play with the other kids. They would make fun of him for smelling like pee, or being stupid. they would also say "Kevin is gay" "Kevin the tramp Lewis" -
Social Services
In 1977 Kevin had finally got taken away by social services, where the living conditions were much better, he had attended a new school, he had new friends people that actually invited him to birthday partys and invited him to play. He had new clothes, was doing well in school and for the first time in his life did not have to worry about his mother. He was happy. The worker sayd "we worked hard to get you into Yarborough" -
Back to where we started
A year after Kevin had moved to Yarborough he recived news he would be going back to his original home. When he returned home he starting showing the same traits as his mother. He had a bad temper, was violent and had been suspended for kicking his teacher. Kevin's life had completly changed when he moved back -
Kevins Mid life
At the age of 17 Kevins life had gotten worse, life at home sucked and was still getting bullied. He needed money and thought getting into the criminal world would be better. Kevin thought of himself as a "professional buisness man" Along with that he had started taking boxing lessons and with his anger problems thats the last thing he needed. -
The crimes
When getting involved within the criminal world kevin was doing things such as stealing cars taking them to a man and then getting money out of it. He was also in the booze and cigaretts trade. He would go to bars and sell them booze and smokes for a cheaper price, but still making lots of moeny. Along with that kevin said he was getting in fights alot. -
lost a friend
Alan, was like a father do Kevin, he supported him wtih moeney and food, a house, he was the father kevin never had. One day, Kevin was 21 at the time alan was playing bridge when kevin got the news, alan had passed awat. When kevin recived that news everything seemed to get worse. -
one bad blow
Before the passing of alan, keving tried to stay away from the crime world. However after the passing kevin went down hill. During one of his trades some man had stabbed him repeatedly and had beaten him, It took kevin a while to get back on his feet but when that happened he took a wrong turn. -
Dont mess with guns
Kevin, had been low on payments since he had been out of the buisness for a while trying to get back on his feet. He owed money to people who were getting very impatient. He said "i stay away from guns and drugs" but in order to get money to pay the people he needed to steal a car, which required a gun. -
Lead to the worst
After the incdent with the car kevin though it was enough. He attempted the impossible. He tried to commit suicide. He went to the store and baught 2 boxes of paracetamol and a bottle of jack daniels. He took the pills... Kevin woke up then ext morning wondering why it didnt work. He thought to himself, "you have another chance dont waste it" -
Speachless
Kevin had always wanted his own real buisness he wanted to open a bar, but with all the payments he owed people he couldnt. When alan had passed, alans wife had offered him 30 000 pounds to help him open a bar. Kevin was left speachless because someone in his life actually cared. -
Things turn out for the better.
Kevin had maybe found his happy ness, he met a woman named jackie . He knew she was the one in his life that could turn him around and make him happy. He new he would not be the way his parents were to eachother towards her, he new he woul not hurt her. She was the love of his life. -
Happy ending
Kevin had been out of the criminal world , he had been trying to be a buismess man, with small and big comapnys. He had money top support his family. Jackie had said she had never seen Kevin cry.. that was until the day she had his child. Life had turned aroun for kevin making him happy for the first time in his life.
