    WWI is over and the mood is brightening, soldiers from various countries start to come home and people become happier. However, as the treaty of Versailles is signed, Germany becomes severely in debt along with needing to rebuild all of their damage. many other cities have been almost or fully destroyed and they also need to rebuild.

    The Roaring 20s was an exciting decade full of economic,technical and social change. As the rise of Business commences, many companies have adopted Henry Ford's idea of the assembly line and automobiles became one of the biggest trades in the world, with the US being at the top. Many technological advancements were made for life improvements for citizens, these include toasters, refrigerators, and many more.

    The League of Nations (LON)

    The LON was the first intergovernmental organisation that was aimed at maintaining world peace. It was formed by the allied powers as an effort to avoid anymore wars similar to WWI and to settle international disputes through negotiation. The LON's other concerns revolved human and drug trafficking, the arms trade, labour conditions and others. the LON ultimately was disbanded in 1946, however many of it's policies are found in today's UN (United Nations)

    The great depression started with many banks in america going down and freezing up, which caused deflation in America's economy. This deflation caused many large companies to go bankrupt as the deflation caused them to not be able to pay their workers. This made masses of American citizens unemployed. As this was happening in America, many other countries such as Germany, Britain, France and more were also have problems, which caused them to also stop lots of their trade.

    The Rise of Dictatorship

    Many European countries were in shambles after the events of both the Great War and the Great Depression. In Germany, nearly a third of the population's workforce was unemployed and the country was generally in a bad time. This is when Adolf Hitler started hi regime, claiming to be 'reviving German masculinity' that he believed had been lost due to the unemployment problems. this led to Nazi soldiers parading around Germany harassing communists and Jewish people.
