    In 1946 the Ferrari S.p.A company was created. it started out as a tractor company in Italy and soon realizd how fast these tractors could go. Ferrari revolutionised the sport car engine. The 1947 ferrari LaFerrari had a masive v12 engine that pumped out 118 hp and took up half the cars length. Ferrari later realised if you put the engine in the back of the car, you could have better power to weight ratio.

    Corvette was introduced in the early 50's and it was a mind blowing experience for those who bought the limited edition 1953 starter model for 3,849 dollars. They only made 300 models and they sold out quick. The engine had 118 hp @4500 rpm which isnt impressive now but was amazing back then.

    Ferruccio Lamborghini' was a mechanic in italy and he bought a ferrari and he wasnt happy with the quality and preformance. He realised if Ferrari's were tractor parts than he could make them better. He soon started working on them and unknowingly created a brand of cars and engines that will set the bar for the term sports cars.
