WWI started on January 28 with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, and ended with the formation of the UN and their first meeting on the 10th of January in 1920. During this time, Rapid advancements were made in flight due to a higher demand for more speed, manuverability, and higher altitudes. This led to many improvements in shape, engine design, control, and areodynamics. This also impacted cars, which were used during WWI as troop transports and armored vehicles. Tanks also played a part.
