A girl named Catniss took her lttle sister's place in participating in the Hunger Games which is a yearly event in which each of 12 distrits randomly select one boy and one girl to fight against each other till the death. Catniss has had past occurences with the boy named Peeta picked from her district. They where both taken by train to the capital of there post-apocolyptic country. -

Catniss and peeta where the best looking at the opening cerimonies, and catniss was able to prove herself in front of several sponcers by shooting an apple out of a roasted pigs mouth and scored 11 out of 12. Even thou there trainer wants them to seem like friends they gradually begin to hate each other more strongly. When the games began, catniss finds out that peeta allied with some other players and they are all on the hunt to kill her. -

after she finds a place to camp by a tree, a large fire craeted by the game makers flush catniss out of the forrest along with all of the other players. a large group of players force catniss into a tree. Catniss was able to escape by unleahing a swarm of deadly hornets on the players and kills two of them and she is able to retrive bows and awrrows from one. Peeta and catniss run into each other and decided to become allies and make camp. -

Peeta and Catniss stay togetheruntil the end of the games. Where water shortage brings them and the final player to a pond where the games started. all 3 are forced are froced into a structure by carnivorous beasts but peeta and catniss are able to flush him out. Sience they cant stand to kill each other, they decide to both kill themsleves when an announcer says that they are both the winners. They are both flown back to the capital where they are cleaned up, and are prepared for an interview. -

after the interview, catnniss and peeta are taken by train back to district 12 where peet finds out that there love between each other was staged to save themselves form punishment by the capiyol for not following the games rules in attempt to kill themselves. TOTAL PAGES: 859
