Katniss and Peeta run from muttations made by the Capitol, and meet Cato, the boy from District 2, at the cornucopia. After a while of fighting, Cato falls off and is attcked by the mutts. Katniss sends an arrow through his head to finish him.

Peeta gets angry at Katniss on the way back to District 12 because he finds out she has only played the romance, which leaves Peeta heartbroken.
