Picking the tributes
Primrose Everdeen is picked to be the female tribute for District 12. Her older sister Katniss volunteers as tribue to keep her younger sister safe from the The Hunger Games. -
The Capital
Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark arive at the Capital for training for the Games. -
Show skills to Gamemakers
Katniss is the last tribute to go and show off her skills to the Gamemakers. She shoots at a target with a bow and arrows, and gets mad when they arn't paying attention to her. Then, she lines up a bow and shoots it up towards the Gamemakers and it hits an apple in the mouth of a stuffed pig. She then leaves without being excused. She got the highest score out of all the tributes. -
The Interview
This is when Katniss has her first interview on national TV with Ceasar. She is known as the girl on fire. She watches Peeta's interview from backstage and this is when he says he loves her. -
The Hunger Games begins
On the starting day of the Hunger Games Katniis isn't allowed to see Peeta. Instead she goes with Cinna to the arena. When it starts she makes a run for a bag of supplies, grabs it, and runs away and finds a tree to sleep in. -
Day 3 of The Hunger Games
Katniss awakes to see a huge forrest fire that the Gamemakers create. It even has fireballs flying at her. She burns her leg severly but manages to climb in a tree and rest. Haymitch sends ointment to heal the burn. -
Day 4 of The Hunger Games
Katniss cuts down a hive of tracker jackers. They sting her, but it falls on sleeping tributes below her and stings and kills some of them. She runs off and passes out. Rue saves her life. -
Day 7 of The Hunger Games
Katniss and Rue make a plan to blow up the pyramid of supplies that the rest of the tributes have. Katniss shoots an arrow into a bag off apples setting off mines blowing up all supplies. She can't hear out of her left ear anymore. -
Day 8 of The Hunger Games
Katniss hears Rue scream and finds her dying with a spear in her stomach. Katniss kills the tribute who did this. Rue dies. Katniss covers her in flowers and leaves. -
Day 9 of The Hunger Games
Katniss hears an announcment that a boy and girl from the same district can both win. She quickly finds Peeta and they team up. -
Day 11 of The Hunger Games
The Gamemakers make an announcemnet saying there is a feast back where the game started. This is where each tribute is able to get a pack with what they need most in it. The packs are set up in the middle of the open with the Districts number on them. -
Day 12 of The Hunger Games
Katniss goes to get the bag. A tribute throws a knife at her head and it skims her eyebrow. She is bleeding everywhere. The male tribute from District 11 saves Katniss from the girl trying to kill her and lets her go free because she was allies with Rue. The female tribute from district 11. -
Day 16 of The Hunger Games
Katniss and Peeta find Cato. Cato is sufficating Peeta of top of the cornucopia. Katniss shoots him with an arrow in the hand and he falls down to the muttant animals that were chasing all of them. Cato dies. -
Day 17 of The Hunger Games
Claudius Templesmith makes an announcemnet saying only one person can win the games. So Katniss pulls out the poisones beeries. They are about to eat them when Claudius saies that they are both winners. -
Winning Ceremony
Katniss meets Peeta on stage and they talk about the Games and watch replays of it on a big screen. -
Return to District 12
The Hunger Games are completly over, Katniss and Peeta are back to their normal lives in District 12.
