ENIAC Was Created
The Electronic Numerical Intergrator And Computer was first created in Philadelphia and was one of the first electronic general-purpose computer. It's construction and financing was covered by the UNited States Army, Ordnance Corps, and Research and Development Command and was called Project PX. It was created with many components, some burnig out almost every day. -
ARPANET was Established
The Advacned Research Projects Agency Network was first established in the States. It was an early packet switching network. Eventually becomes the techinical foundation of the internet. -
E-mail was first invented
A method of sending virtual mail to another person operating through the internet. Created by Ray Tomlinson in 1971, testing it out on himself meaning the first e-mail sent ever was to one's self. -
Apple Computers was Founded
Created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, Apple, the multi-billion dollar company today, is born. Leading on to later create the very first Macintosh, people loved this company since it would do it's best to make sure their products look rich while are easily-accessible. -

Created by Jerry Yang and David Filo, Yahoo! was the first ever search engine to appear on the internet. It grew rapidly in the 1990's and diversified into a web portal. However, more and more search engines started to appear so Yahoo's fame started to decrease in the early 2000's. -

Founded by Jeff Bezos, Amazon is the largest internet-based retailer in the US. It started off with just books to sell, but as time went on, its inventory grew to having more low-end and high-end products. It surpassed Wal Mart as the most valuable retailer in the US, in 2015. -

An American multinational technology company specailizing in internet related services or products. Or more commanly known as the number one seach engine to use.Serving worldwide, Google has made a great profile for itself in stocks ever since the early days. -

A social networking website created by Chris DeWolfe and Tom Anderson. A Highly successful website in its time, surpassing Google itself. However, Myspace went through a downfall in April 2008 when Facebook became the most visited website. -

Founded by Priit Kasesalu and Jaan Tallinn, Skype is an application that allows users video chat and voice cal services. Now availabl for almost every platform ranging from Windows to Apple and iPhone to Android. By 2006, Skype announces that it has over 100 million registered users. -

Microsoft's Outlook Begins
It's a personal information manager from Microsoft and is available as a part of Microsoft Office's suite. It's mainly used as an email application but it can also be a calender, task manager, web browser and more!
