The Magic Lantern

The Invention of Blackboard
James Pillans invented blackboard in 1800s. He was the headmaster of a school and in that school, students were using wooden framed slates. Pillans hung the slates on the wall to teach and this action gave him the idea of the blackboard. The idea spread to a lot of teachers and became popular.
