The Z3 computer was made in 1941 by Konrad Zuse. This is very important, this is the birth of my generations legacy, and without this our world as we know it would be far different. I picked this because of that, this is the 1st but not the last. -

Grace Hopper comes up with the term "Computer Bug" after having her computer crash after a moth had gotten in. I picked this because its very fascinating and millions of people will use this term decades later. -
Magnetic drum memory!
Andrew Donald Booth made the magnetic drum memory this year. This was used as computer secondary storage. I picked this because this is a very important key in the computers evolution. This is a big leap in storage for the computers and if you took this out or if he wasn't born computers would be alot different today. For worse. -
The silicome chip!
The silicome chip is created! Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce are the geniuses that made this chip which is one of the most important things of there time. For computer technology of course. I picked this like I picked the others because I imagined today without this event. There would be no memory arithmic or logic in a computer without it. -
First computer game!
This is the day the first computer game was made by Steve Russel and MIT. This was a big step for computer software and gaming. Later people would make games off this inspiration. I picked this because this is a huge milestone for me, if there were no video or computer games there would be alot of unhappy people. -
Email!
The email was created by Ray Tomlinson. This is great for its time because this is probabley one of the most used things on the computer, not to mention all the adaptations and improvements over the years. This is a very useful thing that allows us to send a message to virtually anyone we want! I picked this because email is a very important thing in many peoples life's including mine. -
Minicomputer!
The minicomputer was made in 1973. This was a very big leap for personal laptops and is still remembered by many. Wow that sounded cheesy. Anyways this computer was almost a roughdraft for others to grow on. I picked this because this was the dawn of personal computers which is what I'm typing on right now. So it was very helpful. -
The mac!
The macintosh was made and sold with keyboard and window interface in 1984. This is important because it would grow to be one of the most bought and used company in the world. After some adaptation the mac would become the mac I and many students use today. And that is why I chose it. I know the picture doesn't match but I couldn't resist. -
World Wide Web!
The world wide web was made in 1993. This is very important because this would be the birthplace for many most used sites like youtube facebook and google! NOT BING. Anyways I chose this because I feel the computer would be useless without the web. -
Birth of a god...
In 1998 Google and I were born! Google is great because it is a very effective search engine and now a news provider and gamesite aswell as a place to talk to people. I chose google because everyone uses it and if it were gone I would have to work with yahoo or some other crap search ingine. Plus the people at yahoo news take there jobs way too seriously than they have too.
