Any white person who supported or was seen near them would suffer the same death threats and bullying little rock would experience. One of them were even expelled because they spilled their lunch tray over 2 white boys' heads, but the rest survived till the end of the year

Governor of Arkansas, Orval faubus prevented Little rock nine from entering the highschool. He ordered the National Guard to block their entry. Little rock nine were also met with angry white protesters who shouted and called them names

The NAACP got a court order to stop the national guard. For safety, President Eisenhower sent 1000 101-airbourne support personnel to accompany little rock nine to central high school
