A young officer by the name of George Washington built this fort after engaging the French in a small skirmish that killed 10 Franchmen. Washington then built the fort to hold off a French attack. The battle for the fort ended when it started raining because Washington had built it on low ground so it flooded destroying all the ammunition.

General Braddock was a famous General thought was taught to fight in the European syle unlike the French and Indains. During is fist battle at Fort Dequesne, Gnereal Braddock was killed and his force was virtually destroyed.

The battle of Lake George was led by a man of the name William Johnson. He and a force of indians and colonists marched to the lake and fought a battle against the French. Eventually, Fort William Henry was built in this area.

Fort Oswego was a British fort in the Ohio River Valley. When the Frnch captured it, they took 1,700 British, colonial, and native ally prisoners.

William Plitt was a special case for the American colonists. He was one of the few secratary of states that went to the colonists and asked what problems they were having and creating a more equal enviornment being treated like partners and not subjects of the king.

The battle of Fort William Henry bagan with the French General Montcalm laying to seige to the fort. With him he had 6,200 French rugulars and 1.800 huron indians. After the seige was over the indians slughtered the British pirsoners.

The English begint eh battle by having General wolfe and his men climb 175ft. cliffs to attack Montcalms rear and to surround the city. Montcalm underestimates Wolfe's forces and attacks and is repelled with heavy causualties. Both Montcalm and General Wolfe die in the siege of Quebec.

In 1761, Spain enters the war on the French side.The new spanish king bought his country into war reverssing his fathers will to stay out of the war.

Native Americans that had fought with the Frenach were becoming very unhappy with British occupation rules and rebelled. This rebellion didn't end until 1766.
