On November 6, 1869, people from Princeton and Rutgers held a football contest in New Brunswick, New Jersey, playing a soccer type game with rules adapted from the London.The man who thought of this rugby type game to the sport of football we know today was Walter Camp. Walter is known as the father of Football. He created the look and design. -
The second generation
A couple of baseball associations wanted to jump in and start a National Football League. They wanted to change the look of the ball and made it more narrow.
