The Magna Carta
King John signs the Magna Carta, a document created by the rebel barons. It stated that all men are affected by the law even the king. Property was protected from the king. It also allowed some people to have some influence in the law creation and every men had the right of a fair trial. -
English Bill Of Rights
Document accepted by the King and Queen Mary II and William III. It limited the absolute power of the royalty. It also stated that the Englishmen could not have their right removed and freedom from the government and just treatment. It also made impossible taxation without the parliament permission. -
Declaration of the Right of Men and Citizen
It stated all the ideas that had driven the french revolution. It allowed to people to have properties taxation applied to all classes. In short it described almost all the enlightenment ideas. -
Us Abolition of Slavery
Signed by Abraham Lincoln. It stated that rights were equal to all men of all races.It also supported workers, it stated the right to have shelter and forbid torture. -
The Imperialism of 1900
It was a time in which people were driven by the idea that stronger rule over the weak, and the more market there was the better. It was a time when the strong countries such as USA, Japan and Europe had control and did as they pleased with what they their weaker countries (Africa, Asia, etc) breaking various of the human rights. -
The Hollocaust
It was a time period in which the Nazis took over Germany and started to change how the lived violating the human rights. During these times these rights were not respected, millions of people were killed. It was a setback to the human rights. -
