    A company named Beyerdynamic invented the first dynamic headphones. These are still in production today and they were used for listening to audio signals but had much better quality.

    John C koss, who was a milwaukee based jazz musician, designed and made the first commercial headphones. They could be used by home by the regular population. Let the user listen to the radio much clearly

    The Koss EP/6 were the first Electro-static headphones made. They were lighter and had less sound distortion. These led Koss to dominate the headphones industry.

These were the lightest headphones till date and allowed for better listening as they would isolate sound better.

    Though the Wireless Headphones have been out for almost a decade. They havent benn relevant till now as newer technologyn has made them better. The wirless headphones are lighter and allow for the user to wear them around their neck, but they also come in different shapes and have different abilities. Beats by dre, Sony, Microsoft, Bose have all made regular headphones wireless.
