During this time, children were considered the parent's property. Discrimination against girls/woman starts to take place. The idea of God and christianity were the bases of their education. -
Unethical practices of education were taking place, however they were not done with a negative intent.

Education began at an earlier age. Child labor and abuse decreased. Parents began to care more about their children's wellbeing and protection. -
Childhood violence started decreasing as people became more informed about their necessities. Parents began playing a more present roles in the child's life. Early education became more important. -
It is recognized that childhood is a vulnerable stage so greater effort and protection is put into their education. Parents are not only focused on their education but their creativity and self identity are also brought into light. Boys and girls are seen more equally.
